Why I Joined: I wanted a space where I could learn and be challenged by people different from myself. I think we tend to get stuck in our own cultural boxes, and the only way to truly understand other people is to surround yourself with them and make an effort to learn.
Fun Fact: I love trashy vampire movies and novels.

Why I Joined: I wanted a true sisterhood that would push me to be better and expand my worldview.
Fun Fact: I used to be a TA for a sixth grade Hebrew class.

Why I Joined: I wanted to learn different perspectives and viewpoints and to have sisters I can trust.
Fun Fact: I am left-handed and love doing graphic design.

Why I Joined: I wanted to be in an environment where I would be surrounded by strong capable women who would help me be the best version of myself.

Why I Joined: I love the way TNX encourages being comfortable in diversity. Despite how different we are in culture and look, I still feel welcomed and empowered by other sisters.
Fun Fact: I’ve been playing the violin for 10 years.

Why I Joined: I was looking for an organization that was tight-knit and believed in making a change. The sisters were genuine, and I knew they'd support me in all my endeavors.
Fun Fact: I have dyed my hair every color of the rainbow.
Mishal Khan

Campus Involvement: Leadership Team Mentor for Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars, Murphree Hall Residential Assistant
Why I Joined: TNX represents a group of diverse women who not only encourage each other but also help the community by having annual drives for homeless people.
Fun Fact: I didn't learn how to tie my shoes until the age of 9.
Ilaisah Martinez

Campus Involvement: Hispanic Student Association, Member Leadership Program, MFOS Scholar, Dominican Student Association, Preview Staffer
Why I Joined: I chose TNX because I felt welcomed and loved by a group of empowered women. I wanted a diverse sisterhood; not only in race, ethnicity, religion, but also in our ideals and lifestyles. It is a lifetime bond with amazing women and I couldn't have asked for more.
Fun Fact: I traveled to South Korea two summers ago. A dream come true!
